At Monarch Beach whenever we get there (about 7 hours later.)

Park your vehicle in the lot adjacent & east of the Salt Creek Grill (map).

After arriving at Monarch Beach, walk 1/4 mile north east on Monarch Bay Drive to PCH, then across to Salt Creek Grill

Swimming Suit (required) Some rubber body wear suggested. Reef Walkers, aquasocks, or other amphibious shoes (required) Sunscreen (required- make sure its waterproof) Goggles, masks, snorkels optional: its a site seeing tour and the snorkeling is generally awesome..) Fins (optional: difficult getting in and out of surf, hard to carry while walking or climbing, can cause leg cramps but great for swimming) Tummy Pack (optional: good for holding aquasocks when using fins in the Water . Also provides a belt for hanging fins while walking. A drag in the water.) Kickboards (optional; good buoyancy for hard bodies)

THIS IS NOT AN ORGANIZED EVENT, in fact, last year the event was cancelled, but several hunderd peple still enjoyed proceeding as if the event was held. Please be prepared to swim approx. 4 half-mile swims, enter & exit ocean via beach or rock outcrops, walking on sand, rocks or along the Pacific Coast Highway. this is an inherently dangerous activity. By participating you acknowledge you are acting at your own risk and peril. there is no supervision, and you agree not to hold the organizers responsible for injury or death.
